Anything you say will be heard by every person, in or out of work, and will impact your job. Ride the waves.Įasily the most toxic environment I've worked. If you lower your head, do your job, you'll get your paycheck. You are also truly helping people who are in need of dire assistance.Īt the end of the day, DDC is a good place to work if you are willing to give 120% and cause very few ripples in the water. The work is interesting and there's rarely a dull moment. A lot of caring, kind-hearted, humans who definitely assist in making the day go better. PROS: The people who work at DDC are the best. Also, other areas are treated better than others. There's almost always a cloud overhead making you worry about your position being eliminated.Ĭertain areas of the company are held to higher standards than others. There's very little transparency within the company. Like most businesses, it's a matter of how much work can you squeeze out of someone without having to pay them more. Pay is still an issue - but very few jobs have employees who say, "I'm paid fairly" these days. Advancement is rare and it appears as though new hires are preferred to advancing long-term employees who are eager to learn or eager to do more for their company. You might be in the same position for years before an opportunity opens up, and even then it might be in a completely different area of the company. Please listen.CONS: CEOs come and go, each offering up a promise that is only partially fulfilled. It is not worth it to pick this company solely on the price. If you do not have the money, wait and try and save. I had to write this review so that no one else experiences this and saves themselves time, money and sleepiness nights. We are all in this situation because we would like quick and reliable answers. It also sounds like the same two people answer the phone, which is concerning. In summary: they lost my sample once and failed to tell me on multiple occasions they needed a new sample from the father even though they were explicitly asked. This entire process has lasted NINE WEEKS. They said they made an error THREE TIMES and failed to inform me. I complained and said I was told they did not need it. they then told me they needed a new swap from the father. Their carrier had lost my sample and they refunded me the nurse and shipping fee and booked another free sample collection. I called weeks later (they did not) and was told the SAMPLE WAS LOST. The nurse took the sample and sent it to them as that’s the service I paid for. Me and the father came together to collect the same and was told that they didn’t need the sample from him as they already had it from the last time and they said swab samples last for months. I then had to pay for another nurse to collect the sample (£68) as they told me they needed a new samples. However, I had to contact them for this update, they left me waiting for 2 weeks. The first testing failed because I allegedly did not have enough fetal blood. If you’re in the UK I suggest choosing one from UK government list on gov.uk DDC is on this list but they are THE WORST. I would strongly advise that if you want any type of DNA testing that you find another company. Hi Everyone! I paid for the non-invasive prenatal paternity test. If you have additional questions about your results or your experience with DDC, you're always welcome to contact us directly. I'm not sure there was anything else we could do to make your testing experience better. Be assured our testing processes are sound and our records show your reports were provided in a timely manner and at a discount. No doubt it's very disappointing to receive three results of 0%, probability of paternity. We're sorry you don't feel like you had a good experience with us. For test #2, we provided same-day results at no extra charge. (3) Took too long to receive results: Once samples for each test arrived at the lab, your reports for two of the tests were ready and posted within 2 business days, as promised. (2) No discounts were provided for multiple tests: We did provide a substantial discount for tests 2 and 3. ![]() (1) All came back 0% probability of paternity: You can be certain your results are correct for the samples we were provided to test. I'll address each of your three complaints separately, if I may. Thanks for taking the time to leave a review. Reply from DNA Diagnostics Center Jun 30, 2020
